“Liel” is a mobile app that brings school and technology into rural Albanian homes. It grew from the need for an education for the isolated children of blood feuds who can't go to school because their lives are at risk. Our app will decrease the number of illiterate children in Albania and Kosovo. Liel includes school books, audio lessons, songs, and poetry which make learning fun. The “Ask the Teacher” feature lets students get answers to their questions from certified teachers. Liel also enables anyone to help these children learn by donating used textbooks that aren't needed any more.
